Title Manager on Duty
Job Information

Responsible for running the daily operations of the Hot Springs and able to make quick informed decision that affect Iron Mountain Hot Springs and the valued guests.  Will include but not limited to adverse weather coordination, handling guest problems and complaints, documenting accidents and employee related issues, administer basic First Aide, ensure all employees are courteous and dressed in an appropriate manner, coordinate tours, provide staff with breaks during their scheduled shifts and ensure all employees and guests are off the mountain and park is properly closed at the end of the day.  This position will conduct performance audits throughout the day.  The position will support and lead our employees to uphold our Core Values, Vision and Mission at all times.

Title Maintenance Supervisor
Job Information

Responsible for overseeing the Maintenance Department at Iron Mountain Hot Springs.  Responsible for all repairs and upkeep of the Iron Mountain Hot Springs property.  This includes but is not limited to assisting with construction and maintenance of facilities including, the bath house, Sopris Café, pool cleanings, pump repairs and maintaining all grounds and landscaping.  Will lead and guide Iron Mountain Hot Springs Maintenance personnel.  Will perform the functions of Manager on Duty for the property. The position will support and lead our employees to uphold our Core Values, Vision and Mission at all times.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Outstanding customer service.
  • Lead, guide and manage all Maintenance staff on day to day operations.
  • Prepare and conduct annual goal setting and reviews for all Maintenance employees.
  • Work with IMHS General Manager on future improvements and new construction.
  • Plan capital budget items to ensure projects are done correctly, safely, on time and within budget.
  • Prepare budget variances on each project showing actual costs versus budget.
  • Guarantee staffing coverage for the department while staying within labor budgets.  Maintain Maintenance weekly schedules and ensure this gets entered into Time Clock scheduler.  Cover additional shifts to cover department when needed.
  • Create and implement procedures and guidelines that give the maintenance department structure and support.
  • Basic knowledge and experience of mechanics, building/construction, pumps, plumbing, landscaping and minor electrical skills.
  • CPO/AED/First aid and CPR certified (Company will provide)
  • Ability to read, comprehend, document maintenance or inspection documents and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license, 18 years of age and high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in property maintenance and/or heavy machinery preferred.
  • Strong focus on safety procedures.
  • Critical thinking skills to work through various issues that arise.
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively in the presence of guests and co-workers.
  • Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor/manager.
  • Must be patient, poised and able to cope with special situations.
  • Courtesy, alertness, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly are necessary.
  • Available to work weekends, holidays, early or late shifts.
  • Able to interpret both written & verbal instructions.
  • Cleaning/Fixing Pools experience preferred
