Iron Mountain Hot Springs Menus are Warming Things Up for Fall

As the cool, crisp air of fall descends on Iron Mountain Hot Springs and WorldSprings, the resort’s cafés are rolling out delicious new menus and drink offerings that welcome the autumn season in Glenwood Springs.

The Sopris Café, near the Legacy Pools at Iron Mountain Hot Springs, and the Sandbar Café, located at the adjoining, adults-only WorldSprings, are serving up a mouthwatering new assortment of savory soups, comforting seasonal beverages, and much more!

Enjoy a fall soak at Iron Mountain Hot SpringsA quick look around the riverside soaking pools at Iron Mountain Hot Springs/WorldSprings confirms that the transition from summer to fall is in full swing. From the summit of Red Mountain, ablaze with fiery foliage, to the flocks of Canadian geese overhead making their way south, and the peak of Mt. Sopris dusted with fresh snow, fall has arrived in all its bounteous glory in the Roaring Fork Valley.

As a tribute to the season, the cafés at Iron Mountain Hot Springs/WorldSprings are switching up their menus to reflect the flavors visitors crave this time of year. While the warm mineral water works its magic from the outside in, new menu additions at the Sopris Café and Sandbar Café are designed to warm you up from the inside out!

Comforting Creations for Chilly Days

Sopris Café, known for its casual yet flavorful menu, is heating up the poolside hearth with soul-satisfying options that reflect the cozy spirit of autumn. In addition to the ever-popular flatbread pizzas, the fall menu introduces rich, savory soups created to refuel and satisfy.

For starters, and sharing in the Octoberfest spirit with Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, a warm pretzel sprinkled with melt-in-your-mouth salt and served with melted cheese is a tasty fall treat. Pair it with a craft beer and raise a toast to an amazing day of soaking in Glenwood Springs.

For something heartier, the soup du jour is always a winner. A bowl of beef or vegetarian soup served in an edible bread bowl is the ultimate comfort food and the perfect meal for chasing away chills on a fall afternoon or evening.

But it’s not just soups heating up the Sopris Café menu. The warm spinach and artichoke dip, also served in a bread bowl, is another savory, seasonally satisfying option to munch on poolside.

Fall Dining & Drinks to Warm Your Spirits

Fall menus are waiting for you at Iron Mountain Hot Springs/WorldspringsNot to be outdone, the Sandbar Café offers similar flavor-packed soups, along with other standout items like the roasted vegetable naan flatbread. Topped with melted mozzarella and an assortment of eggplant, mushrooms, peppers, and onions, it comes with ample chimichurri sauce for dipping. Another excellent choice is the Muenster cheese sandwich made with chicken, pesto, spinach, and sundried tomatoes.

A haven for the over-21 crowd, the Sandbar Café is known for its refreshing cocktails and the new fall lineup doesn’t disappoint! Warm cocktails include spiked apple cider with a shot of locally crafted Cinnamon Fire Vodka from Stoneyard Distillery. A cool fall day is ideal for sipping an Irish coffee, hot cocoa with peppermint schnapps, or a warm Spanish sangria. For a fun, immersive Nordic-inspired experience, order the Vin Glogg, a Scandinavian staple, then embrace your inner Viking with a dip in WorldSprings’ cold plunge pool!

A Fall Experience to Savor

With these new menu additions, Iron Mountain Hot Springs/WorldSprings is not only the best place to relax in Glenwood Springs—it’s also a destination for savoring the flavors of the season. This fall, on your next visit, try something new and delicious at the Sandbar and Sopris Café!
