Here’s a look at the construction site for Iron Mountain Hot Springs from across the Colorado River on January 15, 2015. The Colorado river and hot springs, snow, mountains and blue sky make for a spectacular setting for the new wellness destination in Glenwood Springs.
There will be 16 different mineral pools for you to relax, restore and rejuvenate in. There will also be a larger fresh water family pool for young children to play in. Parents can sit in the jetted spa attached with a cascading waterfall and watch their children. Magnificent views, which will vary from pool to pool, include the Colorado River as it winds through the valley, Iron Mountain, Red Mountain, the Flat Tops and the twin peaks of majestic Mt. Sopris to the south, will make your visit to the Glenwood hot springs even more enjoyable.
