The annual Locals’ Choice Awards results are in. Area residents have chosen Iron Mountain Hot Springs as Best Place for a Date, along with top tier placements in several other categories.
Iron Mountain Hot Springs was recognized in four categories in the 2020 Locals’ Choice Awards. The contest, sponsored by the Glenwood Springs Post Independent (GSPI), is an insider’s guide that highlights “where the locals go and what they know.”
Thank You to Our Locals
“We have won a variety of awards since we opened in 2015, but we are always humbled when our locals choose to honor us in this way,” Iron Mountain Hot Springs Marketing and Sales Manager Heather Austin said.
As a Local’s Choice Award winner, we also want to highlight the other Glenwood Springs businesses who share the spotlight with us.
#1 Best Place for a Date. Iron Mountain Hot Springs with its 16 soaking pools, including the heart-shaped Ruby pool, terraced along a bank of the Colorado River is a favorite rendezvous point for couples.
(#2 Miner’s Claim Restaurant; #3 Riviera Supper Club & Piano Bar)
#2 Best Attraction. Glenwood Springs has many outstanding attractions; we are honored to be included in this category.
(#1 Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park; #3 Glenwood Hot Springs Pool)
#2 Best Place to Take an Out-of-Town Guest. As a hot springs town, soaking is a top-choice activity that provides out-of-town guests the opportunity to experience a unique sense of place in Glenwood Springs, as well as enjoy the deep relaxation that comes with soaking.
(#1 Rifle Falls State Park; #3 Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park)
#3 Best Staycation Location. For getting away from it all while staying close to home, it’s hard to beat a long, relaxing soak in the mineral-rich hot springs water which can feel like a mini-vacation.
(#1 Avalanche Ranch Cabins & Hot Springs; #2 Hotel Colorado)
Thank you to everyone who voted for Iron Mountain Hot Springs in the 2020 Locals’ Choice Awards. Iron Mountain Hot Springs is temporarily closed due to COVID-19. We look forward to welcoming locals and all visitors back to soak and relax in the future. In the meantime, practice social distancing and follow other national, state and local health guidelines.
